Remodeling
your kitchen is a bit like cooking. Today, it is amongst
the most popular remodeling projects in redoing your
house. Kitchens have become the functional and social
hubs for many families. It is where everyone congregates.
Because of that good kitchen design has also become more
important than ever. To design a nice kitchen is a bit a
battle of the wits: Functionality and esthetics often
clash with the budget. Naturally, you have many options,
but the range of options shown in magazine, show rooms
and builders' model homes makes the decision on what to
include really difficult.
Some
ideas people commonly overlook are space for a breakfast
table, a computer space, second sink, nice lighting,
maybe a space to display your fine dinnerware and most
importantly natural light. I am always amazed how many
kitchens I see which are dingy and dark in places where
the space and opportunity exists for nice large windows.
While you may not be able to afford them all, you will
probably be surprised by how much is possible, provided
that you cleverly budget.
